Do you assume all Ferrari's are MR2 replicas?

    Naaaaaw :)

How can you tell if its a real 328 or just a mr2 ferrari replica ?

There's very few models, that are replicated. Typically the 355 or the 360 Modena. Also, it's primarily the Mk3 MR2, that is used for the replicas.

An '86 would have been based on a Mk1 MR2 (which was build from 1984 and on), so it's unlikely.

    Besides that, there's a huge difference in engine sound between a 4-pot (MR2) and a 3.2l V8. This definatly was a V8.

86-KE reg. Unfortunatly, he opted for the machine wash.

Think I know that car. It's a genuine fake. If I could find the picture of me in it I could pull up the registration and show that it is based on an American car, even though it is RHD.

I'll keep digging for more info.

EDIT: Here ya go, from another time I saw it in county Laois. Presume it's the same one.

I wasn't aware that there was a 308/328 replica. I know the 355 and 360 have been done to death. The Peugeot 405 360s are passable from a distance. The MR2 F355s are all wrong on so many levels.

Owner is quiet proud of it, insisted me and the girlfriend get in for a photo. I ask about what it was and he had no problem telling me all the details.

Spotted this crime against taste and subtlety in Sandymount last night.

Badged as 'MOVE OVER'. 'Move over so you can drive across that landmine? Certainly.'

The road to Hell is paved with good intentions.

Numberplate is correct I think (can't remember for sure), but has been changed to silver on black plates. The Fiero only came with 4-pot or or V6 and this car sounded like neither.

Saw this in the Douglas area in Cork, First I was all like "Sure thats just an A6 TDI". How wrong I was.

    A8.jpg

6.3 Litre W12 Long Wheelbase A8. Awesome looking machine. Brake discs were huge!

Cheap tax too at €2258. Worth every penny though!

Sorry for bad quality, phone + walking does not a good picture make.

New A8 looks like an oversized A4. Much prefer the previous models.

So essentially you're left with small - medium - large of the same thing. And regardless of whats under the bonnet, it all adds up to just plain bland.

The only Audi's that stand out these days are the uber-rare RS models and the Q7 :(
