I don't suppose you got any shots of the muscle cars in the background?

I don't know what it is, but I really do not like the M3 saloon. It just doesn't look right for me. The coupe looks great, and the M5 looks awesome, but an M3 saloon, just doesn't feel right.

    I'd get an E90 M3 over an E92 M3 any day!

Unfortunately you don't see them on the roads much anymore.

Anyone here actually driven an E30 M3? Some craic I'd say and zero traction control or any of that jazz. :)

I have an E30 but its not an M3 unfortunately! I would LOVE an E30 M3 but getting a decent one for not silly money is practically impossible. Myself and the brother came together to buy one 7 years ago and the seller agreed to let us have a proper look over it. So we got our tools out and stripped the interior, I should show you the pictures. It was rotten. And so was he when we showed it to him!

I'm now saving for an E28 M5 and the brother says he will get an E30 M3 someday.

A friend in England has just (provisionally) sold his absolutely mint E24 M635 CSi
    http://www.635csi.co.uk/M6/default.php

Good pre ~1990s BMWs are hard to come by as rust and poor driving has killed off a lot of them.

Thats another car I'd love. I have 1:18 scale models of over 70 BMWs and the E30 M3, E28 M5 and E24 M6 are my favourite. Them and the 2002 Turbo.

I have alright. One car everyone should try out at least once. There are too many electronics on cars now-days. The nearest to an E30 M3 today would be an Elise, my brother-in-law has a 111r and its something else.

I was in a few on some of the old BMW club track days.
Nervous driving on track though what with the dogleg gearbox, LHD and someone else's pride and joy.

    So, where to start..

Saw quite a few Ferraris, from the 125 to F1 and everything in between, including the Enzo and F40, some F458's testing on Scuderia Ferrari private track, an Audi R8, multiple Lamborghini Gallardo including a special edition Super Trofeo Stradale in Italian Racing Red and plenty of Aventadors, and it's newest concept, also Pagani Zonda R, Zonda Tricolore and multiple new Huayra. Met Horatio Pagani..

Also saw Lewis Hamiltons special edition Zonda being finished - the Zonda LH. :D

    Oh, and I also drove a Lamborghini LP-550-2 Balboni (1 of 250, RWD). :D:D:D

Goes without saying, pics will follow in the next few days :D

Saw a black BMW 1M in Rathfarnham heading towards Rathgar/Milltown direction this afternoon, great looking car, very understated in black.

Have always wanted to do this trip, can you tell us how you organised it, your itinerary, accommodation, bookings for Pagani etc...?

    Looking forward to pics :)

Was behind this Shelby Mustang down a narrow street with high buildings today. The roar of it was glorious.

The first one I've seen in the flesh, and the owner has the privilege of it being the only one on the island! I'll be meeting someone who has been in the car next week so will do my best to get a spin in it!

It looks better than I thought it would and the interior is just amazing.

Why would you stickers on the RS and ruin it?
