Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Was in Italy last weekend, no real exotica to speak of, probably because of the snow and minus temperatures.

Did spot two disguised Maseratis up in a town in the Alps though. I was texting, then heard heavy V8 revving and looked up. One disguised Maser leading, old Quattroporte in the middle and another disguised at the rear. Rushed to get some snaps on my phone, unfortunately they came out a bit blurry. 15 seconds and they were gone. Initially I thought they were Quattroportes winter-testing, but could be that they're the new Junior Q'porte.

Also thought that was an interesting shot. Bambino, 500, Seicento in a line. And every car in the photo is white...

More unusual than exciting but something I've never seen was just parked across the road so thought I'd share.

Guessed it was a Ssangyong by the general cut of it but had to go to the back to see what model. A Korando EX no less (old Daewoo badge IIRC).

Can't find any Irish website or dealers to get a price but it's £21,445 in the UK, someone needs their head examined.

Some car but have to say the grill is rotten. Too big imo. Plus all the fronts of the current audi's are too similar.

Couldnt disagree more with you. I actually think its one of the best executions of the Audi single frame grille. The way the number plate is actually integrated into the mesh as opposed a holding frame is lovely.

Wish I made that meet, I was half tempted.

Saw this the same day, on the way to sally gap for a spin.

Rear wheels must have been 20" wide - They were like 2 truck tires together!
Had a fully kitted roll cage & Dials inside
    Fuel cell in the boot
Kill switch on the rear trunk
Somehow, he managed to spin the rear wheels pulling out, at around 1000RPM, even with them tyres!

There is a big poster on the side of the Harris Hino building on the Naas Road advertising the new range of SSangyong motors. There's a link to a .ie site but I can't remember it...

There used to be an old mustang or something parked up in a garage for an apartment block, no idea if it's still there. Thought this might have been the same, although that looks miles better than how I remember the one in Cavan.

What is with the new "rough" look headlights. I hate them with a passion! Takes all the smoothness out of it. I have to say for me, the lights ruin the car.

A lot to be said for nice pulsing bulbs as opposed to the stark on / off led's.

Also I don't see why drl's need to be a separate light. Why not just have side lights on full time like Volvo have been doing for donkeys?

On my way back i saw also blue RS5 and blue RS4. And now for future.. if anyone of you is going for show like this can you please move when someone try to take a photo ? So many people stay in front of my camera and don't even think to move. Doesn't matter if you say sorry they won't move :(

I can't believe noone add photos from classic car show which took place on RDS last weekend:

I'm slowly going through mine before I upload them.

Apart from a few people who were oblivious to me trying to take a picture, quite a few waited while I took a few shots and put the cam down before walking in front of me.

Did you go Sunday? What did you think of it?

Yes i was there on Sunday morning. I think it was a good show, nice cars on display, so many people. I'd say too many people but i know some may say that if i stay in home there would be one person less. I get there about 10:45 and i park my car close enough to the hall but if i came half an hour later there was no spaces left. People had to walk from other car parks in the rain.

If i can say something about cars i have to say that i really like Irish Classic Car Shows. There was most beautiful BMW i have ever seen: 507 Roadster and Mercedes 500K in red - just perfect. The other way some cars were display in wrong way and it was very hard to take a photo of them but only few. Some of cars parked outside could be park in empty hall beside main show instead but i'm not sure if they were private cars or part of show. If they were private it's ok to park them outside :)

I'm really enjoy it and i'll be back there again.

I had a problem with my camera because i set it on auto program and ISO was set on 1250-2500 too much. I changed it on 100-200 ISO and then photos were too dark, i resolve that problem after 2 minutes and taking a photos was a pleasure for me again.

I've been really into the idea d bare metal cars lately, there's an Aventador going around that looks great, the above with the original patina looks even better.

It got relatively quiet once the rugby had gotten underway! I'm no longer surprised at some of the gems this country has, I'm 95% sure there's even more rare stuff out there that not many know about!

I was struggling as well taking pics, I don't like going over ISO 800 and even at that I get a bit of noise. Most of what I shot was underexposed by a 1 or 2 stops :( Might take a tripod the next time and not have to worry about camera shake or high ISO then.

Great pics as always Marcin! ;)

I thought I had seen most classics in the country by now but it seems there's still a lot of gems hidden away.

    Sorry I didn't go now! :(
