Is that an old or new model A3? Looks like an old, but hoping no-one was that ridiculous.

Old with the Prestige Pack. You'd be mad not to specify €8,000 + of extra's for €500!

S-Line Exterior Pack, 18" Rotor Alloys, Leather/Alcantara Sports Seats, Black Styling Pack, Tinter Rear Windows and the BOSE Sound system.

Were you talking to the Pathfinder (Navara?) owner at all? I'm loving the discreetly mounted winch on the front!

No. But he's a regular at the Cherrywood C&C.

The only issue I'd see with that is how to get to the clutch release. It's a nice setup he has with the car though.

    Here's a picture from June.

Wow, not bad for €500. Is the A3 yours?

Tis a long way for me to travel on the off-chance he might be there next time :pac:

I'm wondering though - in the pic from June there's no cutting of the bottom of the grille for the control box, but in your pic from yesterday it's clearly been chopped.

As for the clutch release - can they be quick fit? pop off the numberplate, insert handle & twist maybe?

It looks like he's done a bit more modifications to it since then alright, as the bottom of the grille and the chome surround is chopped and something in there.

Sure, I'll have a closer look, I'm around next time. I tend to be at most of'em.

I'd bet money that its the control box now mounted on top of the winch ;)

Though I'm now curious about the clutch handle since you mentioned it.

So, your mission, should you choose to accept it ... :pac:

No, but I've a White one on order for a customer, and supplied one the same as that last year. Driver was rather pleased when he turned up as his order was for a standard SE model :D

It is pretty much 99.8% fitment! :D

I fricken forgot that the C&C in Cherrywood. Pity Octane is down, that used to be my reminder.

Did any of you notice a reduction in numbers as a result of octane being down?

Love the cobra, I know a guy who has built a kit that looks the spit of that, same guy has a Porsche Speedster cab kit.

No reduction in numbers. And the reminders are on Pistonheads, Forty Acres, the C&C Facebook Group and well, they're on fixed dates (Cherrywood every 1st sun of the month, Galway every 2nd, Athlone every 3rd, Limerick on the 2nd wednesday eve), so you can just stick'em in your phone on the calendar on a recurring setting and never miss one. There's no excuse for missing out.

Not quite today but a few days ago....

You don't often stop at traffic lights beside one of these...

On the subject of multiple Astons a few posts back, I passed an Aston dealership over the Christmas that must have had 30-40 Astons parked outside:eek: You'd barely see a Toyota garage with that many cars parked outside here.

Dark grey one lives near me, looks brilliant. Not a fan of the standard wheels though :/

There is a grey one up my way....and it seems to be spending most of its early life sideways too.
