Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    I am thinking of trading in my car and getting a 1990's or newer Vespa but i am a bit worried about riding one in the rain. What are Vespa's like in the rain, are they safe? I had a 68 gt but sold it last year as dident get the chance to ride it much and I only ever went out in fair weather.

    Wet:pac::pac:

    They're as safe as you make them. Not much power in them so they won't cause you a problem unless you/someone else does something silly.

    We have my wifes car for really bad weather and I only work about a mile downhill from where I live and about 1.5 miles from town so it is only for short trips. I know the winter is coming but last year we couldent even take the car out for ages. My wife lost her job this year and my car is costing a fortune on petrol just doing these few short runs so I would love to cut down on my costs, its also a good excuse to get back on a scooter again. I just have to sell my car first, anybody like to buy a beautiful Mazda 6?

    Don't mind that walking crap, walking is over rated. Pick up an ould vespa and you be grand. Insurance and everything is cheap with them

    I was considering getting an LML for reliability, any pro's or cons to these?

    Apart from having too small wheels their fine:D

    Buy the rain suit form Lidl or Aldi next time there out and you'll be fine.
