Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Anonymous. Not entirely his fault, the game laregely bypassed midfield in typical lower Championship-style where centre backs headed or hoofed things as far away from them as possible. Wood seems to be a target man. They had him well marked.

Looks like Hasselbaink is going to be the new QPR boss. Surprised that we didn't go for him instead of Steve Evans as he's done very well with Burton.

That said, we probably would have sacked him after ten games anyway.

    Ho hum.

Hasselbaink will probably be our March 2016 manager :)

Big protest planned for ER tamarra - a mass walkout in the 17th minute in relation to the extra fiver put on the price of stand tickets. I'm unsure whether the plan is to come back in or not - but I'd put Hull in me accum either way ;)

The plan is to stay out for 17 minutes and then come back in.

17 mins? is that so everyone has enough time to get their pie before they head back in?

  • Registered Users, Subscribers, Registered Users 2 Posts: 47,336 ✭✭✭✭Zaph

Phil Hay from the YEP tweeted before and after pics of the walkout. Doesn't look like many actually left.

In other news Chris Wood has just scored. :)

****e. Presume you'll get a refund on the flights but not on the ticket?

  • Registered Users Posts: 6,185 ✭✭✭championc

Booked two sets of one way flights because got them on separate days at 9.99 each way. Will get refund for this morning but will need to wait and see if this evenings return will be canx or not to trigger that refund

Leeds at home to Rotherham in the 3rd round of the FA Cup. Are we looking at an early exit??

  • Registered Users Posts: 302 ✭✭Trend Setter in Training

So he got away with one...

    http://www.skysports.com/football/news/11715/10095167/leeds-chairman-massimo-cellino-cleared-of-tax-evasion-in-italy

Still a technicality as it's only because it is not punishable under law anymore.

South stand closed for Rotheram FA Cup game

What a complete idiot that man is

On tv at the moment v Wolves. Both teams had chances, Dallas cracked the post.

    1-0 Wolves after 10.

I don't know why Bellusci is on the team, I think he is a terrible defender

Just getting to watch it now. For about 10 minutes there every ball forward was a long one to wood. Wood knocks it down to the midfield and there was nobody waiting.

Really don't seem to be doing ourselves any favours in the first half and every attempt at a clearance or long ball to wood fell to a wolves player and invited the pressure back on.

hahaha fair play to Wood for getting out of Byrams way!

I tell ya in fairness to Steve Evans he recognised early enough the one man up top wasn't working and sent Doukara on to support the play a bit better. There seems to be a dramatic improvement in our wide play and working the channels, but on the other side of the coin we don't seem to be pressurising the ball when we're defending wide, too many easy balls getting into the box and we don't look comfortable defending crosses.

Happy to see Byram getting back to some sort of form, I just get the impression his next big contribution will be adding a few million quid into the transfer coffers :( Defintely an encouraging night considering we hadn't won there in 30 odd years

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,434 ✭✭✭Lamper.sffc

Totally agree. Doukara was very good too. Looked more like the player we thought we had after his first 10 or so games.

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,312 ✭✭✭blaa85

Great game last night. That substitution in the first half did wonders. Not sure if it was just an injury but I'd like to see that happening more if we concede early or are getting dominated like we were.

Wood did miss some sitters, I'd rather see Attenucci up there at the weekend and have Doukara play off him.

1-0 home win today, it was an og but I'll take it. It's hard to believe we're only 5 points off the play off spots going into the Christmas games. Who would have thought!!

Another narrow win today. Are we on a roll???

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 266 ✭✭tfer

2 wins in a row, could this be the start of a very merry Xmas.

By the way I wish all you Leeds fans a very happy Xmas and brilliant New Year:)

The less takeover talk = better form me thinks

Hopefully the manger will be given some money for January and we can keep the momentum up and push for a playoff

Listened to whole match, sounds like we were very poor, especially in the second half v 10 men. Great to be climbing the table though, looking forward to the game on TV next Sunday.

Yeah a bit of a nervy performance 2nd half, the early goal and them down to 10 seemed to stem us from pushing on, young lad that came on for their goalkeeper was a 17 yr old making his debut. Strange that he persisted with Wood on his own until well into the 2nd half. But 3 points is all that matters I suppose
