Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Gah with all the excitement of the BF3 beta I forgot about this, so now I have to split my time between finishing Rage, playing BF3 singleplayer and multiplayer, Batman and real life.

Sorry real life, you are going to get the shaft.
Tell me about it, I didn't play any BF3 at all until a small bit at an EA press thing last week. I just happened to be sitting beside the head producer guy telling him what I thought. Which was nice. I've a new PC built for it, he told me it'll probably run it ok, but I might want a second video card! I'd planned that anyway in the new year, but jebus! Rage I was all set to buy, but the graphical issues and a general feeling of "meh" from a lot of other Boardsies have put me off. I may swoop in on it in a Steam sale or something in future...

Not too drunk I don't think... Had 6 Jack Daniels and coke and I feel fairly ok but a bit tipsy. Gig was class, can barely hear now, voice is probably gone.

Got a bit drenched on the way home. Stopped in Burger King and made it all the way home before the rain made the bag split open and the chips went everywhere. Managed to salvage the burger though as it was in a wrapper. Have replacement chips currently in the oven.

    Result!

Indeed, not to mention the banter, something funny always happens in BK after a gig somewhere.

No BK near me, but we have one of the NICEST chippers in Ireland on my way home from the pub :D:D:D

    What gig?

    Noel Gallagher at the Olympia.

The chips are all over the carpark now. I'm sure there will be some well fed animals with high cholesterol tomorrow.

Nothing beats Aprille in Portobello for post drink chipper or Beshoff Bros in Clontarf for fancy sober chipper.

I'm sure you will get over it. I just hope they don't make me go down and clean it up tomorrow.

It could be worse. I once wedged a double whopper under my front door and didn't realise it until about 6pm the next day.

Yeah but I bet you ruin it by putting no salt or vinegar on your chips and then smothering them in mayo or something else equally ridiculous ya lunatic.

Enough salt for a heart attack and enough vinegar to melt the bottom of the bag is needed on nice chips...... :D

Ya have to have a little pool of vinegar in the bottom of the bag for your chips to swim in!!
