Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    I'd leave out the lemon, and prob. the cloves tbh, though I love 'em in hot whiskey.

    Brown sugar works better than white, and I know people who use a small drop of honey instead, esp. if they're taking it for a cold. Not really a honey fan myself, in any guise.

    In general, hot rum will need less sweetening than hot whiskey anyway ...

    It's not really something I'd drink normally, though I love rum, but if you're frozen in the middle of winter, it hits the spot ver' ver' nicely!

    I can't abide whiskey, so my hot alcoholic drink of choice would be a hot port...
    Will def try the rum though, seeing as I have a litre of it now ;)

    Don't think it's possible for me to be re-educated to drink whiskey. I have tasted some expensive whiskeys before but ugh..... Same with gin.... *shudder*

    Gaaaaawd, as discovered last year, an empty bottle of morgan black rum is a horrible thing to wake up beside >.< That stuff is just alcoholic treacle, it stains everything it touches and leaves quite an interesting pattern on the inside of a glass when mixed with coke :|

    I hardly ever drink, but sometimes I do. I like a nice strawberry daiquiri in the summer and fuzzy navels are warming as is a rum and coke in the Winter if you're out.
