Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I'll take the snickers and the M&Ms. The rest, I shall throw to the crowds and let the minions scrabble for whatever they can get their grubby paws on :pac:

It's a thing that people used to do when I was young.
If you had a few sweets left over, or anything a number of people would want. You'd turn around, throw them over your head and shout 'gushie!'.

Then everyone would scramble to get one, or as many as they could.

    Hi all :)

Yeah, there was nothing like chewing on a jelly which you won by stomping on it and pushing two other kids away. A jelly pitted with small bits of tarmac...a victory jelly!

    A lovely story:

So, I get emails from Air Lingus. Telling me about their flight deals and things. I don't fly anywhere often, so I usually just delete the emails unread.

I got one today with the subject "Is this Goodbye?" I only half noticed it was from Air Lingus and opened it.

    Hi,

We are delighted that we caught your attention this time, as we have noticed you haven't opened our emails for quite some time"

    AAHH!!!

Got the same mail there myself.
Thought it was strange that they said if stopped opening them, when in fact, I've never opened them.

You can't beat a victory jelly. Kids today just don't understand.

I got one of those emails from Urban Outfitters before, and in order to entice me back to online shopping they gave me a 15% off voucher. Wily minxes.

Zomg! Kids used to beat the bejayziz out of each other around my way when someone did a gushie! Actually getting any sweeties was like a moral victory!
