My (albeit mild) Cavan accent morphed into a slight D4 accent upon moving to Dublin for college. Thankfully most people think I have a neutral accent, which is better than either Cavan or D4. Although I do unfortunately pick up on and subconsciously mimic the accent of whoever I'm talking to. At this stage I'm really not sure what my own voice should sound like. I'm told that's the sign of a musical ear.
