Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

the health sector is a complete joke alright, private is the only way to go but it does cost a hefty amount of money unless you get it as a perk in work. even then you have to pay benefit in kind for it.

Glad to hear it's a sprain and nothing more serious man. Thankfully have avoided the A&E for a few years now, the one in Galway is a disaster. Whole system is in dire need of reform.

I heard they tried to reform it last year, but Mary Harney actually ate the paper it was written on while ranting about smoking being bad for your health. :pac:

well the Database goes offline for a couple of hours in every morning anyway, won't be avail again for another short while.

Currently counting up e-mail volume from a few mailboxes.

No harm flicking between excel/outlook and then boards the odd time.

My work will get done.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 14,762 ✭✭✭✭stupidusername

so the work you're doing for now is counting your emails? nice.

i've to very slowly get through all the invoices generating, takes forever. been at it since 9.30, just over half way through it, and then i've to check them all ... grrrr. i don't mind it only in the few minutes i have to wait for them to generate i get sleepy. it'd be better if i'd some proper work to do too.

    meh.

wouldn't grab youself a bottle of coke to wake up no? :P

It's not my mailbox I'm counting, although i did that once with xobni and the results were outstanding:

Going over all the subfolders for the depts I look over in the call centre to analyse volume / performance and such.

oh it's part of your course so? A friend in college was working on VMWare and Active Directory as part of his FYP, goes right above my head anyway. but yeah now that you mention it, he wasn't the smartest, so maybe it was a bit easy :)

Well not really - the job I'm going to is a networking role - not hands on but network customer support really, will involve configing networks etc. so to get that experience while doing the CCNA is huge for me.

    And Drav - Custard slices....UGHHHH :(

I'm just back from the Dentist. Half my face is numb.

Attempting to roll, lick and then smoke my cigarette was possibly one of the funniest experiences of my life.

No Brandy, but I have coffee if that counts? Also a lot of fun to drink :P
