Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I'm going to bed early tonight - left college early last night so I could go home, eat and hit the hay....ended up watching 30 Rock until 12 :(

Sipping on what is the strongest cup of coffee I've ever made. It's like I poured Dulux Terracotta into a cup it's that dark. Give it 30mins and I'll be buzzing around here like Apu in the Simpsons.

One of the things I love about my new job is the free coffee - nespresso machine, the black pod coffee is amazing!

The free staff gym and snacks/coke etc. also doesn't hurt either :)

If you want a really big kick from a cup of coffee, I recommend this

It's really great stuff. Perfect hangover cure too. :D

I must look to invest in an expresso machine - only have a perculator atm and the coffee is grand but doesn't have the same kick as a good 'ol Americano

There are many things I wish to purchase and Christmas is coming so god help my family when I send them my list :)

    Get this:

    http://www.hasbean.co.uk/products/Aerobie-AeroPress-Coffee-%26-Espresso-Maker.html

It is easily one of the best purchases I've made in a while.

    So easy to use too:

I'll take a look at the video when I get home from work but that looks like effort....I like to press a button and drink :pac:

Cheap as chips though so might check it out....depending on the video later!

Nice - a few of my mates have been inked and they've said it's addictive - once you get one you can't wait to have another

Yea that's so true, I think I got about 15 tattoos at this stage. It's bloody expensive though.

First notion a few years back I wanted to get a flaming magic 8ball, and the flames would spell my mates name.
Second notion was to use something like my this, the centre piece would be a man with his arms stretched out (Imagine Jesus on the cross...ish) and the strings that are holding the weights would spell words that "balance" me as it were.
Crazy aul notions the pair of them.:pac:

Genuine question for everyone. Meeting the parents of a friend of mine next month while on holiday, and I know there'll be a fuss made about me coming over, so I want to bring a gift for them so I don't arrive empty handed and I'm a little stumped as to what to get. Any suggestions?

Can never go wrong with a bottle of wine for the mother or whiskey for the father imo

I bought a mario costume for work today but it fit like a spandex so couldn't be seen in it especially at work - wearing a red tee, blue jeans, a mario hat and a tache

Halloween fail! :( But at least I tried

You can be Mario having a casual Friday!

I've taken the day off work. Went home to vote Michael D number 1 and couldn't be arsed getting up early to get back in time for work. 4 day weekend...yah!

I did book the day off last week though, so I didn't just call them up and say "Nah not going in today"!

Cheers man. Still unsure though, since I've never met them before I'm thinking something a little more Irish/Celtic or something along those lines. Then again a decent bottle of wine is always a winner.

Well maybe something small to go with a nice bottle of wine if you want to be sure to make a really good impression but they won't expect anything I'm sure :)
