Wouldn't have got my course if I did the LC this year. I feel like I've dodged a bullet somehow

    * Teaching – after years during which points have moved upward, the requirement is unchanged at St Patrick’s Drumcondra. It is slightly down at Marino and at Mary Immaculate College. The points required for courses in early childhood education are also substantially down.

Please Marino drop 10 points

Oh sweeeeet Jesus pleeeeeeeease let the primary teaching & psych course in Mary I stay the same or go up. Ahhhhhhhh!! :(:(:(

Would that include environmental science (does that come under biological?)? I'm assuming it does...

Apparently broad based Arts courses are going down - not sure about specific ones, like say English Studies at Trinity though :(

If you get the points exactly it means you got in... Probably one of the last people to have been chosen to receive an offer but you'll still be getting an offer regardless.

    Congrats.

Someone's very on the ball tonight! If LC2010HIS did get the course, it would probably be down to random selection.

LC2010HIS, it's best to wait until 6am. Just in case the course was down as 400*, which means you could have missed out on random selection, the IT article wouldn't have specified that.

In fairness, you do come across quite girly! :)

Assuming there isn't random selection involved. Chances are very good, LC, though, bear up! :)

sure it's all a bit of craic! i'm falling asleep at the computer here.... :Z

to anyone who is disappointed: It all works out in the end. You will get a course and things will work out. It's not the end of the world if you don't get your first choice.

    Woopsie, I apologise.

And it sounds rather a splendiferous educational direction to me - Humanities are fabulous
