Hey, I was just wondering, what is the general consensus with regard to the points for say subjects like English? I'm interested in doing English Studies at Trinity, but afraid that I've missed the points - I got 495 (but getting some subjects rechecked, damn my slacking), and although 2010 points were 505, in 2009 they were 475 - so, I'm hoping that there's going to be a general decrease in points for Humanities? Perhaps? Or am I fumbling in blind optimism? Any thoughts on this would be greatly appreciated.

I put in for Arts in UL for 440 but only got 365 so I won't get that.

Offer two is English and History in UL but the points are 385..I hope they go down at least

Choice three is Languages, Literature and Film for 345, I should get that..I hope.

Any ideas on if it's highly possible I'll get my third choice?

Ok, I can only find info for the entry into years 2,3,4 so I'm kind of out of my depth here.

I do hope that Round 1 gives it to you but if there's any confusion, get on to the Admissions office of DIT asap and they'll sort you out.

If I didn't get a offer in round 0 am I not getting any offers tomorrow for that course as it's in DIT?

No, it isn't. A DDoS alone doesn't give you root/shell access to the server, it just takes it offline.

Hacking doesn't necessarily give you root/shell access to the server either. I know what hacking is and what it isn't. A DDoS technically speaking isn't "hacking" but to the average person who the CAO were attempting to lie to it's the same thing.
