Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Hi guys are these any good? I commute from Dublin 5 into town everyday and I have a heavy bag on my carrier so I guess I'm losing some of the bikes flexibility because of the extra weight from the bag so I feel every bump more.

Feels like my back is compressed by end of the week. Would a suspension seat post sap away to much momentum. Are they much more comfortable? Advice needed thanks.

Bike is a Giant 3.0 city bike.

gonna try to pre guess other recommendations here....

A good quality saddle will make more of a difference on a commute.

Yes they do take some of the bumps out, more than you can do with a saddle. Worth a go I would say. I had one but ditched it as I found it a little annoying but I had converted to drops and was getting serious at that point.

Also consider bringing in a bag on a monday with a weeks worth of work clothes and then riding bagless the rest of the week.
