Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Will published images be paid for? If so what is the schedule of fees?

If it is for credit only could that be made clear?

Also, what are the required technical specs for image files?

    Thanks.

Hi, IF an image is published in a news context (as opposed to the Readers' Pictures slot), payment will be made at our standard rates. A Credit / Byline will usually accompany the image.
Pictures should be .jpg format and between 5 and 15mb when open (0.5 -2Mb when saved as a JPEG). Don't worry about dpi or image size. Ideally images should have a full caption in FILE INFO in Photoshop - but amateurs may get away with sending it in the body of the e-mail. The Caption (in 2-3 lines) should tell the reader everything they need to know about the picture. (Who, What, Where, When).
You can also submit pictures through our upload page, which has a caption insert facility: http://photos.examiner.ie/readers_photos.html
We don't "Publish" our rates, but I will confirm the rate to anybody whose picture(s) is likely to be used.
