    using the college internet to download a few tv shows and games. wish it didn't block Steam though. I've games on there i won't be able to play til i get proper internet and now the crappy mobile "broadband" i currently have

    don't know yet. haven't met any of my housemates even. will discuss it with them first. no way i'm getting it on my own though!

    those mobile dongles are a pain, whatever about reliability, watching to make sure you dont exceed the download cap is a nightmare.

    i'm careful about my download cap, thank god for college broadband that saves it from whittling it down. Though i run it down to about 40/50MB left just so i get my money's worth :D
    they provide an online counter so it's not too bad. i run one on the laptop as well, just to make sure

    I found it horrible trying to ration daily usage, even here at home with eircom (30Gb), this country so far behind in IT that it is shocking how any foreign companies would even dream about coming here.

    i tend to just use the mobile one for browsing and do all my heavy downloading in college. for example in the last 2 hours, i've download 7.16GB of stuff!!! :eek:

    well, downloaded Red Faction off Gamersgate (legit okay! :P) and then a few tv shows to keep me occupied tonight (don't ask, don't tell :P)
