    TCM will do that people.

Apparently during the filming the guy that was playing Leatherface genuinely started to lose it beause the director made him stay in the sealed up shack, in full costume, pretty much the whole time.

Maybe you can help me Orim. I feel like I have seen all the horror films, ALL of them!

Any recommendations of a few obscure ones that are good? :)

  • Registered Users Posts: 4,971 ✭✭✭Orim

I love my films but I'm not into them enough that I know really obscure ones plus my memory is really bad for stuff like. About the best I could recommend is the Hammer films especially the Draculas with Christopher Lee.

Great films but might not be what you're looking for (or obscure enough).

  • Registered Users Posts: 11,698 ✭✭✭✭Princess Peach

I'm just looking for any film, since I've seen them all! I've seen most of the old Hammer films too.

People need to make more films!

I always get annoyed when people haven't seen films so here's a list :P

    Not so scary:
    Night of the Living Dead
Dawn of the Dead (Original or Remake)
    The Shining
    Evil Dead
    28 Days Later

    Scary/Gory:
    Friday the 13th
    Nightmare on Elm Street
    Halloween
    Texas Chainsaw Massacre

Moar unfinished tattoos. I'm waiting to give blood before I get my next one so I have time to decide what I want. 4 months is a crazy amount of time to wait but I guess you can't be too careful with that kind of stuff.

I absolutely love The Shining my all time favorite horror film, its hard to find a good horror though the majority sadly are crap, or just go for the gore for the sake of gore without a decent story like Saw the first one I thought was good but what they on now 8 or something.

:)While i do like the idea of being littered with unfinshed tattoos I think ill hold off starting anymore for a while, wont have any more sittings with Remis till the earliest February as hes going travelling now around Europe, Asia and South America doing guest spots etc from the end of November, so might try get some more work done on the arm in the meantime :). 4 months is a crazy aount of time id be all for giving blood but if thats the case I wont be donating any anytime soon.

@princess peach not horror films but check out http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0920458/ or http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0468492/ neither horror films but two that sprung to mind when ya asked for films to see to not everyone might have seen :).

Seen the Host but not the other!

I'm not exaggerating that I'm running out of films to watch, of any genre! Unless I want to start hitting up the straight to dvd B moves D:

The version of the Host I've seen has terrible dubbing :pac:

Check out Flame and Citron I really liked that one, true story to which for some reason always makes it that bit more intriguing I find, Ill get my thinking cap on see if I can think of anymore :).

Princess Peach, it's not a horror film at all, but since you said you're running out of films of any genre, try something called Hedwig and the Angry Inch. It's a cult film, pretty strange, but interesting enough. :)

Type O Negative actually did a version of the song "Angry Inch", it's pretty good.

Whats big trouble in little China it was Kurt Russell at his finest hour, if I was a moderator I'd deem that worthy enough for a ban until you educated yourself :p
