    Hi guys

So I am bringing my Mazda Bongo to Ireland to live for first time. I'm Irish but bought van in UK, now I'm importing it.

It needs a couple of new tyres - size 195/70R15C

I will probably also look to get a couple of 215/65 tyres aswell as they are recommended to be on the back.

So any ideas where I can get them in ireland? Is it best to shop on ebay or somewhere and then get garage to fit and rebalance? Should I go to a Mazda Bongo friendly garage or is anyone ok?

    2. Second thing I need done is some of the kitchen surfaces in the van are looking worse for wear, the edge trim is coming off some bits of it and I have it stuck with tape.

Should I just go to a kitchen fitter to see if he can do it or should I go to a campervan specialist? If so, where do I find these in Ireland?

    Thanks

I just got 215/65 tyres from camskill for our toyota granvia, local places didn't have anything with a decent sidewall other than van tyres and they were all 195s expect to pay 7.50-10 euro a corner for fitting and balancing. My brother gets tyres in Cork for the same price I can get them from camskill.

If its iron on edging you can buy rolls of that and iron it on yourself. I trim it with a very sharp chisel or sometimes a block plane but if you're not used to that cort of thing you can get a tool: Edge Trimmer Tool

Thanks for the link. Im new to all this, never had to buy tyres before. Why is there such a massive price difference between them when they are all roughly the same size?

What "load" and "speed" should I be looking at for a Mazda Bongo??

Quick stop model farm road, did the tracking on my granvia too which is a hoor to do camber, caster, toe. Excellent tracking setup - put in the japanese chassis number and it was all in the system. They have fab. diagnostics too for everything.

It is not on the door pillar, I'd say 96 load minimum and extra load/ reinforced. I have 100h xl on the granvia as it tends to scrub the shoulders with car like driving. I use the accelera ones you were recommended over on bongofury. They are good tyres but they needed a lot of weight to balance them, the quickstop guy reckoned camskill might be buying a lower grade.

I got those tyres I was recommend on Bongo Fury and the van is driving much better now. they are 215/65's with load of 100 XL. I still have 195/70s on the front.
