No, there'll be a lot of weakened sides out. You're going to have to keep track and chop and change a bit. I imagine Carter will start the first game though - it being the first game of the RWC.

I remember I won a week (nationally) of IRFU 6 nations fantasy rugby once and was awful every week after that. I'm looking forward to this.

Fox sports had a decent Super 14 and Tri Nations one. I wonder are they doing the world cup
Yes they are. They had one for the last WC too. It was miles better than any of the others - it has got full match stats and proper scoring system, so players who play well without scoring are actually worth having.

Could you create a boards league? My team is "best show on grass".

Well there is no reason why both can't run, just people might not realize there is a fox sport one is running if its hidden away at the end of this thread.

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,188 ✭✭✭mrboswell

I'm sticking with the original one, couldn't be bothered signing up for something else that will sent me random emails for the next 10 years.

    cool...sure we'll run both....

one for simplicity and one for complexity...

    excellent

think its a nice coop thing going on...like the times one is simple and straight forward for those who wanna make the WC a little more exciting, and who might not have the full in depth knowledge (like me)

then the fox one is for the hard core supporter...who loves opta style insights!

shocking resemblance to the premiership fantasy footy

I think the fox one is great, has a much more tactical edge to it. There is actually a point in having a front row!

Some of the NH players in the Fox one are seriously under-priced.

I'm slightly concerned as to how the transfer system will work. Will it be like the S15, where you get 3 a week, or will they give you unlimited every week. If it's like the S15 then it makes things a lot harder.

From what I gather it's unlimited transfers as long as you keep under the cap.
You can change all your selections as many times as you like until 5 minutes before each match

Makes keeping on top of things tricky. It's also somewhat ambiguous. I assume you can't change team in the middle of a "round" of games and get points for two players.

Aw, that makes things too easy. People are just gonna lash on players who are up against the minnows.
