Deferring a course

    I got my first choice in UL but I need to defer it for health reasons. The handbook says:
    If you receive an offer of a place and you wish to defer taking up the place for one year, you must seek the agreement of the appropriate HEI. Such agreement is not guaranteed and is totally at the discretion of the appropriate HEI

    I'm just wondering if anyone knows how common it is for them to reject a deferral application? :confused:

    Haven't heard of anyone getting rejected. They accepted my deferal so i'm pretty sure they accept everyones
