im hoping for a 2nd round offer but have a quick question....

say there is a course for 100 people and the first round says 450 points....

does that mean that they have sent out 100 offers to people who got 450 points or more???

because if thats the case then 2nd round offers purely depends on who rejects the offers??? or is it something else???

Yea that's more or less it! If the points are 450, that means the 100th person who got offered got 450 points!

Second round offers come about due to people not accepting offers, or accepted offers from a different level (e.g. level 7), or accept UCAS offers, or defering for a year, or going back to repeat.

In general, the higher points the course is, the less likely it is to decrease in points in the second round (or if it does decrease, it usually isn't by much)!
