    haha cool :)
ya i did...did u go for the tour of the dental hospital?
what you think of trinity? :)[/Quote]

My main aim of going to open day was to see the dental hospital. It's so lovely. small and cozy.
did you go on Friday or Saturday?

I love the science side of trinity like Hamilton Building or Biomedical Sciences Institute. Didn't really go to any talks for arts or humanities
been to Arts building for Science quiz. Let's only say i wouldnt probably apply to tcd for arts degree.
as for dentistry I guess that's irrelevant.

did you go to ucc open day? I've never even been to Cork. :)

I think my motivation for doing homework has totally gone out the window after the Chrismas Tests :(

On a positive note, my results have been better than expected :)

I genuinely just popped in by accident!

    (Don't go there! :P)

Was kinda nice to see a really active OT thread in LC this year, usually they start well and kinda fizzle out, maybe wake up for a week or two and fizzle out again, that kind of thing ...

  • Registered Users Posts: 311 ✭✭Manic2

Got my november report sent home! 54% was my highest result! 42% my lowest! I've had 14 absences and 10 lates, not including not going in today or yesterday!
I have so much to do right now I don't know where to start, everything's piling up and I don't know what to do!
    I'm having a meltdown I think!
I'm not crying though so I don't know if it counts.

  • Registered Users Posts: 6,068 ✭✭✭LoonyLovegood

Manic2, DON'T STRESS OUT. Seriously. Doing that will just make you even worse.

I've my bag packed for tomorrow. Up at 5am...oh jaysus.

  • Registered Users Posts: 311 ✭✭Manic2

    It's hard not to. :L

    I hate my username...

I am the unfortunate inspiration this thread never had before.

Me too:( I know what it feels like, my summer exams were similar and that's not usually me.

I've xmas exams starting next week and I'm worried the same is going to happen because I'm in awful form right now, I had to leave school today, I'm such a mess.

PM if you want to talk.

    Thanks. :)

I think I've calmed a bit now. I've just found out that it's exactly 8 weeks to the day, which kinda works out perfectly for me.
I've decided that 7 of those weeks will be spent on all 7 of my subjects, a subject a week, and on the 8th week, each day of that week will be spent on revising the stuff that I've done, a day per subject.
I feel a bit better now that I've something worked out. :)

Ah lads stop stressing out so much. It is only Christmas after all. Next year when you're in college you'll realise how the stress over the Christmas exams was very silly in the grander scheme of things.

Sure these exams will give you an indication into how you're doing but at the end of the day you can only do your best and if your exams don't go as you would like them to then they can be the kick up the backside you need to do the study you need to do. And if your exams go brilliantly then use those results to show how well you're doing and how you're kicking the Leaving Cert.'s ass :p

    See positives all around :)

I like positives. Who'll be the insomniac crowd tonight? I need someone to stay awake with me, there's no chance I'll be sleeping.
