    Congrats to Dancor, Pete and CM_Punked on your engagements. Any of you give her a squared circle?

    The outcome wouldnt have been as positive had i done that, might tell her i'm worried about losing my own actual ring when the time comes so therefore I should get a 16 x 16 one. I think its fair to think i wont lose that.

    The brother got engaged Christmas day. He made a wooden box with saw in it with the ring hidden in it.

    Paid the car insurance today. Got 40euro off.

    Anyone play any musical instruments? I've always wanted to learn one and with it being a new year I'm getting the itch to try one.

    Been playing bass 10 years this year. Its the perfect instrument, easy to learn, challenging to master. Relatively cheap to start and always techniques to try out.

    I've been thinking mainly of the guitar. Been considering the tin whistle too funnily enough, mainly because I had one for a brief spell in primary school and regret not sticking with it.

    Congrats on all the engagements guys! Enjoy it, we are 9 months away from our own wedding date and entering the deep end of planning now!

    Don't start planning anything yet though, take the time to enjoy being engaged! It's a great time and ye'll be buzzing off it for quite some time!

    I'm personally not pushed about a church wedding but she is so we will have to do it.
    Sounds like a load of crap.

    Out of interest, would there be interest in a PW Boards.ie Minecraft server?

    I want to build some things on Minecraft, but I don't see the point in doing it where no one can see it :P Going to rent a server for a few weeks and wondering if people on here would like to play....

    Joe Cole was meant to have put in an almighty performance, lol. Suarez is better at playing the Johnny Foreigner role than Cesaro ever will be. Put Luis with Rafa and you'd get nuclear heat.

    Thankfully they should be in Poland by now so no awkward dinners until next week, unless of course they decided to emigrate based on what they found!

    That FIFA XI is terrible though no Pirlo is a travesty i`d of had him in the Top 3 on the podium nevermind not naming him in the team.

    5 from Real Madrid, 5 from Barcelona, 1 from Athletico Madrid:

    Casillas;
    Dani Alves, Pique, Sergio Ramos, Marcelo;
    Xabi Alonso, Xavi, Iniesta;
    Messi, Falcao, Cristiano Ronaldo

    Nice to see diversity :P

    The Marcelo at left-back spot was the only one that really bugged me there. I figured Alba would get it on account of Spain's Euro success and his good season thus far with Barca.

    Ashley Cole really deserved the LB spot in the TOTY IMO. Kompany also more deserving than fecking pique...

    Pirlo should really be in there instead of Alonso too.

    But its an incredibly biased team, like always.

    I`d of gone with Chiellini or Lahm. Dani Alves and Pique were rubbish this year too but over any time ever there seems to be so few consistent defenders out there. Haven`t seen anything of him since he left Milan but when he Thiago Silva got injured at Milan it was a hammerblow.
    Please nobody say Kompany or that he`s been woeful so far this season along with his team mates. Disappointed Cavani and Zlatan didn`t get more votes too :confused:

    Nah he hasnt.

    Hes consistently citys best defender, and half the time, hes the only one out there defending and trying for the team. Its going to be hard when you have clichy, lescott and bloody zabby beside you.

    And Zlatan deserves as many votes as he got.
