I've an Animaniacs VHS somewhere in my shed if you ever get stuck. Best kids show ever, I reckon.

Cheers, man. I've only stuck up the lo-res, so it can't be nicked (major problem with flickr), but hopefully they take it. If not, we've got some other offers, anyway!

Great photo deadlie! Worst part though is that the first thing I noticed is that she was wearing an adventure time shirt.

That's mental. Could you not get it from a Hitjerseys site for about a third of the price?

I always wanted the white jersey when i was growing up but would'nt pay that much for it

I could, but it wouldn't go with all the other real jerseys I have. Nearly all of them have cost near 300 euro or so.

I have the white one and that purple one. Only thing is the name on the purple one is peeling off and no one in ireland well touch it that is why I want it again

Makes sense. Got a few l/s football jerseys and they don't stand the test of time sadly. That's said I spent probably $50 for 5 shirts incl. delivery from Thailand.

I have heard that. I know loads on the American football forum have brought fakes and the first wash ruined

I'm looking for a new laptop myself after the one I had for 6 years stopped working.

Just wondering though will my iPod that i would connect up to my old laptop be wiped if I connect it to a new laptop?

Ideally no more than 400 -500 quid.

    I'd like a 17 inch screen as well:o

Sorry I am no help, just thought I'd ask the budget to give anyone that might be of help an idea of the price range.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,065 ✭✭✭✭eh i dunno

Harvey Norman has the best range of laptops imo. Would do well to get a 17" for that money but there is plenty of 15" around the 400 mark. And don't be afraid to haggle

    Delighted for Moyes.

The silver lining is that at least this should put a stop to the calls for Giggs to get the job. It also might see an end to the demand for Giggs to be kept on in a prominent role which worried me because I think that could create tension down the line.

I hope the new manager (Van Gaal it looks like) is just allowed to get on with things and make his own mark.

I really wanted Sunderland to go down, disgusted with that. Come on City! :(

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 15,238 ✭✭✭✭Diabhal Beag

I know they'll get a big transfer warchest (sorry) but spending it sensibly is a different story. Spurs have pretty have pissed away all the Bale money on no progress whatsoever. Even highly rated players like Lamela's can turn out to be nothing players. Probably unlikely to happen to United but it's still an issue.

  • Moderators, Sports Moderators Posts: 42,618 Mod ✭✭✭✭Lord TSC

We're being linked with the right types of players (Shaw, Kroos, Reus, Muller) so fingers crossed it's a good summer for us :P

I'd be shocked to see the last 3 join but it would be ****ing glorious. :D

Definitely Shaw and Muller seems unhappy at Bayern. Doubt the other two.

Is it a given that the new manager will get a chunk of money? I heard on Newstalk United are due to lose an unmerciful amount of money due to lack of presence in Europe.

They mention the Glazers have even thought about playing midweek friendlies worldwide to being in some mula and keep interest up with the fickle foreign supporters (mid/far eastern fans)

How inviting do you guys think MUFC still is to the big names?

  • Moderators, Sports Moderators Posts: 42,618 Mod ✭✭✭✭Lord TSC

Money won't be a massive problem; losses from no European football will be covered by higher PL revenue, the new kit and sponsorship deals and the fact that United are still one of the best incomes in terms of fans world wide.

LvG will provide a bigger draw than Moyes would, and will convince enough people that it was a blip of a year because of poor management, rather than the start of a decline. That, and the fact that high wages will always be appealing.

They wont lose that much, the commercial money isn't arriving because of a presence in Europe, it's people around the world watching them in the Premier League games and thats not changing. United are also about to ink a massive shirt deal so one year out champions league won't damage them so yes a big chunk if money will be available, I imagine they know they need to spend to improve again.

The second part is true, No Europe may damage them in getting some established names, a guy like Van Gaal, the club and money on offer would make it possible to get players of a high quality. A manager like him would also be good at identifying players that have massive potential that would be less expensive and coming from teams that won't be challenging for honours

It's not been a great season. Whatever team wins it won't go down as one of the great Premier League teams. What are the chances City lose to Villa, I wonder?

All the british teams have been in decline except Liverpool. Compared to Real, Munich, Barca and Athletico, they all look poor. Think City deserve to be on top IMO

Hopefully they all get the finger out, esp Man U

I should probably think of something cool or profound to add but sure I never managed that in any of the previous 19,999 posts. :pac:
