tbh I didnt expect much better and it would look a lot more impressive if Sexton had put over a few of those easier kicks. USA are tiring now and some more scores may come. there were a lot of poor handling in the first half too, little mistakes that can be removed from our game before we play Oz, wether they will be or not.

Them scoring a try was the lowest I felt as a Irish fan since San Marino nearly got a draw against us a few years ago. No bonus point against a completely useless team, the worst in the tournament.

it shouldent make any difference but considering our form I didnt expect us to get a bonus point on 9/11 because the US were bound to present a spirited performance and from all accounts their defence was far improved in this match even it there were a lot of handling errors that we could have instead gotten trys from.

    That's OTT.

Did you watch the last world cup? The one where Ireland only beat Georgia by 4 points! France beat them by 60 plus.

The Americans are absolutely ****ing useless, they are a total shambles all over the pitch & if Court dominates you in the scrum you are incredibly bad. Forget the 9/11 stuff any team worth a damn would of picked up a bonus point against them.

I think Georgia are top class compared to America, I had tried to blank the last world cup out of my mind but this looks like its a repeat of it.

tbh I think its the last WC in my memory also and the fact that we still won thats making me not too annoyed especially when you throw in them having our old coach who should know our game & players plus the 9/11 factor. A Similar performance against the Aussies though and we will be punished severly i'd imagine.

I prefered the Tom Court was made look like Arnold Schwarzenegger line. 11 of them American lads were amateurs so I would easily say Georgia were better & they can scrum something that America couldn't do if their lives depended on it.

Spanish football expert eamo. I'd rather hook that Matt Williams & Neil "Franno" Francis you'd find more life in a grave yard than you would get out of them two.

When Dunphy is not being the cartoon character he portrays on TV, he does actually know an awful lot about football. His books are excellent and he is much more reserved & reasoned on the radio.

He is a smart man. I just hate RTE treating us like fools who can't figure out they are playing a character. At least Vince admits its entertainment.

so I guess try again in a week if she aint back.

Might do a Gimmick style boards.ie interview, except obviously in a far less serious way then when talking to Gabe/Fergall :pac: sure last time Ger and the boys were asking questions like did Mr Ass have a big lad? etc but im sure we can lead into such questions with the obvious responses to her tweets i.e how has your life changed since this time last year?

be that true or not, the last thread was epicly funny and he return (I can only imagine it being short lived) could also be especially if the right questions were posed to her.

Don't know how but Milan got a draw at the Nou Camp we got bruised & battered for 90 minutes but we got 2 goals in the last & final 30 seconds. The fact we could actually defend (albeit in large numbers) did us the world of good.

Isn't it incredibly dangerous? Friend of mine went there and said the resort was spectacularbut you weren't allowed to leave it on safety grounds. So if its just relaxation you want I'd say go for it but if you want to be getting out and about getting to know a country then avoid.

Vegas is a great laugh but you only need 4-5 nights max before you get sick of it so depending on how long you have maybe book a few nights in LA or Mexico or somewhere nearby as well?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,964 ✭✭✭Cherry_Cola

Yeah Jamaica is a pretty dangerous place. It has one of the highest murder rates in the world and Flahavaj is right in that you will be very restricted in what you can do.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 21,296 ✭✭✭✭gimmick

But aren't the resorts very open in that anything you want to do can be done in them? For the 10/11 days we go it will be very much balming first and foremost.

Re Vegas, ya looking ay 4 nights. I reckon thats all we could afford. Plus it would be all dependant on my putting our remining money on red when we arrive there.

This is definitely the good point of getting wed, being completely selfish in that we can pretty much do whatever holiday we want and hang the consequences (until we get home and have to start paying for it).

why dont you get hitched in vegas

anyways as said above jamaica is suppose to be very dangerous well so i've heard never been there myself

I would love to, but that isn't what wiimin want I'm afraid.

If you're looking at the carribean in general as opposed to strictly Jamaica I couldnt recomend the Rendezvous resort in St. Lucia highly enough. It is a couples only over 18 hotel (this doesn't mean swingers) so there are no kids running around your feet or teenagers moping around the pool.

There are no tvs in the rooms but i didnt go on honeymoon to watch TV

Just found out that McIntyre resigned as Galway hurling boss bit dissapointed but i'm not suprised he decided to walk away I felt the players let him shoulder most the blame for a lot of our defeats.

Pat Dolan doing the commentary of Kazan vs Shamrock Rovers on tv3,i'm probably one of very few that doesn't mind him.
