Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Commuting/shoes question...

    Hi,

I am going to start cycling to work, which is 25km each way, from one end of town to the other. I was just wondering, is it advisable to do such a trip with bike shoes/cleats given the number of times you end up stopping due to lights or other random reasons, or would you be better off just wearing runners and abandoning the clips?

Cleats all the way. You very very quickly get used to clipping in and out, it's not an issue. I use MTB SPD for the commute, you get double sided pedals to make it even easier.

Thanks! Yeah I have the road shoes/cleats already, and am relatively used to them. However, I'm not used to cycling in traffic at all!

Whatever you do don't lean against cars to avoid clipping-out. Drivers hate that :)
