I think with Toby Flood providing quicker link play they will get better as the tournament goes on. They have the beating of Australia in big games, so I'd say they've a shot

You got a good price cause they're rubbish. That's how gambling works. They don't have a hope. A semi-final is the very best they can hope for. If you think they can win it based on this performance or any other performance for the last 4 years then you don't have a clue about rugby.

Sexton had a poor game bar his kicks which were good, but are not what we want to see.

Both himself and ROG seem to be forcing things, and not getting what they need out of whats around them.

We are insipid and blunt, and we wouldn't score against a Senior Cup Team. Any organised defence (hello Italy) are going to cause us problems at the WC.

Murray did well bar the brainfart, but 5m from the opposition line is one of the worst possible places to make such a mistake.

Agreed, but we're stuck for the WC now. When are we allowed to "overreact" I wonder.
Once again, we were brainless, clueless, no shape, no idea what our gameplan was, no incision, poor set piece, lateral, blunt etc. etc.

There's been countless posts on here questioning the management team in the last few years, many seen as over-reaction.
But, if this was France or the SH, that team would have, rightly or wrongly, been booed off, and serious questions asked in the media.

We have zero creativity in mdifield. D'Arcy isn't getting over the gain line so what's he there for? Earls is a winger playing 13, looks good in space but that's not guaranteed at this level.

That whole phase of play was a disaster. Backline wasn't even organised to take advantage from that situation, i don't know why we didnt try more kicks into the dead ball area when it was pissing rain.

Jesus that was truly awful.

I know we didn't have O'Brien or O'Driscoll and lost Wallace and Heaslip but, Jesus, we should be able to do more than that. If we're that reliant on a handful of players, we're at nothing.

Hard to see how you can get that team's confidence up after losing four games on the trot.
