Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Cheers Lads,

Basically it's been mothballed for the last few years and I am breaking it out of storage to lash all the old vinyl on to the PC, there is deffo one set of loose connections on the mmb of one of the decks and the other needs the pitch recalibrated....so was just thinking to get both serviced and have them in the best nick to do Vinyl to wav/mp3 conversion. I bought a Numark TTUSB but the sound quality is Sh1te so I'm gonna rig up a 1210 to my mixer - then into a soundcard - then into Soundforge/Audacity/Soundsoap etc.

If anyone has done this before and has any tips ?

    :pac:

If you have a multimeter I'd say have a bash at calibrating the pitch yourself and if you cant get it right just get someone to do it,

and you lost me on the loose wire on the mmb?
once your quartz lock is working and holding it at zero it will be fine for ripping vinyl
