Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Winter management of autumn reseed!

Just reseeded 2 acres at the back of a small shed. I only keep cattle, and I was thinking about buying a few store lambs, to rear on for killing in spring. I thought they might be a good way to keep the new reseed topped and possibly less prone to frost in the winter.
How many lambs, would be appropriate for this purpose. I'm thinking six!!
Appreciate any help here, as I have no experience with the wolly fellas!

it would benefit if you could graze it off fast and then rest it for a couple of weeks and graze again

if you have another field you could move the lambs to I would buy maybe 12 to 15

we reseeded about 8 acres in july and have 65 lambs in it now
