Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

So, if I don't get a HP Touchpad...

Ok, it looks like I haven't a hope of picking up a hp touchpad - although, to be honest, I don't think its going to do everything I want anyway.

I'm not sure where to post ... but this is what i'm looking for, and advice on what would be best got would be much appreciated.

I'm looking to replace a portable dvd player, laptop and external hard-drive. The device needed would be used for holidays - so on the airplane to let the kids watch a movie or two (depending on length of flight.) For me to surf the internet, for hubbie to play angry birds on. To allow me to transfer photos onto it (or an external hard drive attached to it) for storing elsewhere at a later date (or uploading to get off machine.) If we could hook it up to crt tv to play movies on it, all the better.

I'm thinking i'll probably need a portable hard drive - can I get one that doesn't need a power source, and therefore could play movies off said hard drive on new device on the airplane?

Sorry if the above doesn't make sense.
