Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Atleast delete the second post as it is a clear spoiler for anyone that was interested in Paul's run in the house and wants to actually watch it without knowing what happens. Spoiler tags atleast!

According to this source, he's short listed along with 31 other people.

It's only confirmed that he'll be fighting to get into the house and not that he's into the house

The guy you're replying to is talking about the outcome of the first episode it looks like.

Paul is a great personality to have on the show. No tough guy bullsh1t just a genuinely good fighter with all of the skills you need to be in the big leagues which I hope is where this leads for him.

    Well seeing as this is no longer spoilered, here's the full cast;

Note: This is the cast of 32 for episode 1, all of these have to fight for a spot in the house and a cast spot for the entire, the guys who lose will prob not be seen again for the season.

8 fighters in each division get into the house, and its a straight forward knockout tourney. No wild cards, no coaches' picks. Just win two fights in the house and you get a spot in the finale.

The most interesting thing is obviousy Paul McVeigh, but there's a few things there i'll be watching out for.
A good few of the usual teams represented. The FW Micah Miller is Cole Miller's brother and a former WEC fighter. He up against a teammate in the FW division.
One thing that sticks out for me is the two brothers in the BW division. I wonder how the UFC will want to deal with them.

Decent video showing Cole training with his brother Micah, fan of Cole's. Looking forward to seeing Micah. Congrats again to Paul. Also GAD was on ESPN having a bitch and a moan about Vaughan Lee not making the cast but being on UFC138, so interesting to see what he's all about.

Ive seen Micah fight a couple times before. Hes fought on Dream cards and in the WEC (I think). I'd have thought he was a bit high profile for TUF but I guess its a great way to get the attention of the public and get into the UFC

Frankie Edgar didn't make the cast for a LW season of TUF because he was too small. He got a call to fill a spot that opened up, the rest is history

Also, Jon Fitch was in the cast for TUF 1 and got a phone call while he was AT THE AIRPORT waiting for his plane to say he'd been replaced.

Apparently, the Tapout lads pushed the UFC into bringing in Diego Sanchez, who wasnt part of the original line up, and agreed to do so and bumped Fitch off the show.

Here's a video of him talking about it!

I wonder if this is the guy from the tryout vids who cuts from 185.

    Yeah that guy was ridiculous!

And on the topic of Gareth A. D****............ avis, he's showing once again what a Gareth A. Davis he really is! He moans about a guy not getting a spot on a show to compete for a contract for the UFC, when the UFC have already given him a contract to fight!

If the videos of the try-outs are anything to go by, Lee absolutely killed it!

Also, GAD's in your face British bias makes him look so ridiculously unprofessional. On the night of the recent Versus card he tweeted right after Cole Miller's win, saying "Ross Pearson would beat him in a rematch".

What kind of statement is that?

Some cut all the same !

I actually have been looking that guy up. Turns out his name is Vaughan Lee
and he wasn't asked to hit pads but already has been signed to fight at UFC 138 in the UK.

Yeh I remember seeing that at the time and thinking this lad really is a sad prick. He's obviously brought into ESPN as a counter argument but this guy is a joke. Just there to kiss British fighters arse. His podcasts are even worse as he gets two of his mates to back up everything he says. I don't know if it's part of his ESPN contract but the guy never writes about BAMMA, CW, UCMMA or anything outside the UFC.

    Absolutely hate GAD.

All the way from his crinigeworthy appearances back on Setanta's UFC chat show to his current shockingly undeserved spot as the UK's best mate in the UK.

After watching him berate the UK/Irish fans for complaining about the 138 card I can't have the TV on with him anymore. Always fast forward if he's on ESPN MMA show.
