Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Cycle to work scheme

My father, who is a primary school teacher, is interested in getting a bike through the cycle to work scheme - however, he knows nothing about it.

What's the process of getting a bike through this? Should you approach the secretary/principal of the school, or the department of education? Or is it all done through the bike shop?

Can you only get it at certain times of the year? (I'm asking because of this article here ...)

Over how many months is the cost of the bike deducted from the salary?

    Thanks!!!

I would imagine since he is paid by the department of education, and not the principal, it's them he should contact.

As far as I know there isn't a stipulation on what kind of bike you can get. I think it's a great scheme and know a few people who have taken it up.
