Channels breaking up and disappearing?

In the last few weeks our satellite system reciever has started to give trouble. Its a Televes RSD 7299 reciever. Most of the channels either 'break up' continously or simply show a blank screen when I select them ..e.g. BBC, ITV, Sky News, CNN, etc etc (The only News channel we get without any problems is 'RT - Russia…

Most of the channels either 'break up' continously or simply show a blank screen when I select them
..e.g. BBC, ITV, Sky News, CNN, etc etc

(The only News channel we get without any problems is 'RT - Russia Today'?!)

Any idea what the problem is guys?

Lack of signal caused by, among other things, misaligned dish or connections gone bad due to water ingress etc.
