So far anyway. Staying away from handicap betting i have been getting burnt lately. Looking for another team or two. What do people think of Rotherham 7/4 away to Swindon. Di Canio only a new manager they have struggled so far and he was arguing with a player during the week on the field. While Rotherham are playing well undefeated in 4 i think, only downside is they sold their main striker to Reading. I try so stay away from early games but 7/4 looks tempting.

    Sheffield Utd 4/6 v Bury.

Utd on good form and Bury sold two of their players during the week and cant see them getting anything from this game.

    Burton 8/13 to beat Plymouth.

Everybody knows about Plymouth's troubles with wages although the players got paid 40% of the wages they are owed i still dont think their will be unity in the team. Burton playing well and should win.

Crawley 4/6 basically because they have a very good squad and should win at home.

Yup, I posted it yesterday. November last year

Ivory Coast are already qualified too, but I still threw a wee bet @ 5/4 this morning :)

Elche look good this evening @ 17/20. They beat Girona away 4-1 last week whereas Murcia lost 1-3 at home to Celta Vigo.

Murcia just promoted this year whereas Elche unlucky not to get promotion last year. -1 could be worth a small punt too.

    Over 2.5 looks great too @ 5/4

Using the Soccer tracker for the Irish football.

    Bohemians v Bray - Under 2.5 @ 8/13
All of Bohemians home games have been under 2.5 and seven of Bray away games have finished under 2.5 and Bray will want to keep it tight after last weeks result to Limerick.

    St Patricks v Galway - Over 2.5 @ 4/11
There should be goals in this

    Dundalk v Shamrock Rovers - 1st Half Draw @ 21/20
Out of Dundalks 14 home games eight of them have been a draw at half time. Nine of Shamrocks Rover away games have been a draw at half time.

    Longford v Mervue - Over 2.5 @ 4/6
Eight out of eleven Longfords home matches have been over 2.5 and seven out of Mervues ten away matches have finished over 2.5. Longfords last six games have finished over 2.5 goals and both teams played back in March with the result been 2-1.

    Finn Harps v Monaghan - Monaghan @ 8/11
Monaghan have won there last six away games and need to win to keep up their promotion hopes. Longford are a hard side to beat but they have lost five in there last eight home games.

Putting them all together gives you odds of 12/1.

Also doing a treble of Monaghan, Over 2.5 in Merve and Pats games 3/1ish

    Last few selections for today,

Xerex Vs Guadalajara (Spain Segunda) ....... Xerex to win 5/6
Guadalajara are in transition after last season they've lost 6 or 7 players, they lost they're 1st game and against a decent Xerex side at home cant see anything but the win.

Elche Vs Murcia (Segunda) ........ Elche to win 8/11
Elche were so close to promotion last season, they're a very good side, they should have no problem turning over newly promoted Murcia who lost their 1st game at home 3 - 1.

Swindon Vs Rotherham (npower league 2) ..... Rotherham to win 17/10
After what went on during the week with Di canio i'm having a small bit of Rotherham away win.

Crawley Town Vs Bristol Rovers (League 2) ........ Crawley Town (-1) 13/8
Having a poor start but i think they will turn it around today, i slightly regretted this selection after taking it thou, so proceed with caution.

Burton Albion Vs Plymouth (League 2) ........ Burton Albion half time/full time 11/8
Plymouth look awful so far, and i cant see the players being too interested in this game with the trouble the club are in.

    5 singles and a small Accum @ 52/1

Carlisle V MK Dons have met 6 times, all have been over 3.5 goals.

    Over 2.5 today is 5/6 & over 3.5 is 2/1.

I fancy Scotland today at 7/4. Decent home record - last 8 home games won 6 lost 2.
Starting XI; Allan McGregor, Alan Hutton, Gary Caldwell, Christophe Berra, Phil Bardsley, Steven Naismith, Darren Fletcher, Charlie Adam, Scott Brown, James Morrison, Kenny Miller.

Im thinking of going for 6o points or more at 13/5

Going with these 4 teams today, good luck punting.
    Sheff Utd 8/11
    Forest Green 11/10

Anyone know if Plymouth are still playing their youth squad v Burton?

I need Burton to win by two goals for a big double to come off.

Where are these African international matches? I can't find them on PP.
    *edit*
OK, found them, but feck-all markets. Can only bet on a win/draw. Ugh.

60 points is quite high as Czech's have quite a decent discipline record. The Scots on the other hand have poor discipline and could hit 6 cards themselves. Also in a game like this ye could easily see a red card, so 13/5 at 13/5 a decent gamble but wouldn't put much on it.

A couple that look a lot more appealing are Scotland to win the bookings points match bet (ie Scotland to have more cards than Czechs) at 5/4 on Betfair and WH.

Charlie Adam to be shown a card @ 6/4
Scott Brown to be shown a card @ 6/4

Scotland over 3 cards @ 3/1 is a good price too. Small bet only though.

Finally worth looking at is the corners. The last time these sides met Czech had 12 corners to 0 for Scotland.
Scotland have set out a very narrow formation, so can't see them getting many corners. The likes of Plasil give the Czechs good width so they should threaten down the wings.

Czech Republic to have most corners @ 11/10 on bet 365 is gonna see a decent stake from me.

Swedish 2nd division 14:00 kick off,

Sparvagen away to bottom side Kvarnsveden, away side need just a point to ensure they avoid relegation and are in very good form, 12 points from 5 games.

    Sparvagen win here @ 10/11 strength 6/10

    0 - 2 after 18 mins :D

Doing these two accumulators for today ..Confident about both but lets see how it goes

    Linfield 4/9
    Elche 8/11
    Monaghan United 10/11
    Shelbourne (-1.0) 2/5
    Bohemians 8/13
    St Patrick's Athletic (-2.0) 8/11

    Around 17.5/1

    Bohemians @ 4/6
    St Patrick's Athletic (-3) @ 15/8
    Shelbourne (-2) @ 5/4
    Longford Town @ 5/6

    19/1

  • Registered Users Posts: 3,844 ✭✭✭carlcon

    Longford Town 3/4

    St Patrick's Athletic/St Patrick's Athletic (HT/FT) 1/3

    Bohemians 8/13

    Shelbourne (-1.0) 2/5

About 9/2 for the lot. Seems safe. We'll see.

Hopefully they only put in 40% effort.
