Do you fancy Lyon to get some sort of result tonight?

In the previous 8 meeting between Madrid and Lyon, Madrid have only won once and Lyon have won 3 times. Could be a dodgy one, or thats what ladbrokes are thinking anyway. On paper it looks a nailed on cert but i think Lyon could cause an upset.

I thought the dodgy one was Man City....................

Was a post here a while back pointing out that only 3 of their has come up in the last few months, wouldnt be overly confident in Real Madrid.

but its the best one i've seen in a long time, hence the odds i suppose

That was Paddypower.......... I think evens on the bet sucks....Sure Lyon have an ok record against Madrid. Also Man City NEVER won in this competition and god know's with UTD away.

All three teams (Madrid, City & UTD) should win but at evens for the treble --- No thanks.

Silva, Yaya, Nasri, Dzeko, Aguero should be way too much at home for any weak La Liga side,

Its a must win for City if they want a shot at the next rounds, and I believe they're finally clicking and hitting form.

I knew it was Paddy, for some reason I thought thats what the poster said, cheers.

I agree btw, poor price, but City should definitely win tonight.

Went with that bet at evens, maybe foolish.

Well everyone different. I just didn't think there was enough value in it for me to back it but once they win it doesn't matter

I was thinking about backin Leeds tonight and Southampton/West ham over 2.5 goals.

Leeds won their last 4 home games and Coventry lost 4 away from home in the league this season. Leeds are priced around 4/6.

Southampton and West Ham can score alot of goals but also West ham could keep things very tight :( Over 2.5 happened in 4/5 of Southampton home games and 3/5 of West ham's away games. The odds are also 4/6. The only team to keep Southampton to one goal was Millwall (1-0) and they also drew 0-0 with West Ham

    Inter
    Blackpool
    Crystal Palace
    Leeds

    €5 returns about €80

A few championship bets I fancy

    Burnley Dbl chance @ 2/5
    Derby + 0.75 Asian @20/21
    Pboro Cardiff BTS @8/13
    Ipswich win 21/20

    4fold €10 pays €55

Anyone been looking at Notts Forest. A bit of new manager syndrome maybe? Might go with a wee treble of them Leeds and Palace

Derby double chance with William Hill is 23/20 Yardie. It's the same kinda bet at asian +.75 but betters odds

If they lose by one I get half my stake back and bet is pushed on acca so don't lose. +.75 is a better bet for me.

I was thinking about backing Boro on the double chance but as you say new manager for Forest and Boro are in rather flat form right now so that's an avoid game.

    Man city
    United
    Bayern
    Real Madrid
    All to win about 2.5/1
    Bet365

Will do an over 1.5 accum tonight, not as big as previous ones as been unlucky the last few times, the weekend 20/1 accum failed in 2 matches out of 12. So hopefully pick a few winners for some profit at least :)

Oh sorry I taught Derby got a 0.75 head start and that just takes out the draw :o

Any thoughts on Liverpool vs Newcastle reserves game ? Liverpool are playing rangers as well they might bring some of the reserves to it and play some younger lads ?

    Newcastle are 4/5 to win

I have been trying to find out the Liverpool reserve team for this exact purpose but as yet have failed. A few of the u18 lads tweeted they are travelling with the reserves so I presume that means some of the reserve lads are with the first team but haven't been able to confirm.
