Confident for Liverpool v City to be over 2.5 but might lay off at unders so guaranteed a small profit! :D

Then I have my cheeky (stupid) City -1 in my double ;)

What are people going for in the 'Pool v City match anyway?

I'm going for Man City as well. They thrashed Tottenham and Man Utd away from home and beat an in-form Newcastle. I think some people are fooled by the fact that Pool beat Chelsea last weekend.

    Betis v Real Sociedad

Both teams have history of very low scoring games, especially Betis at home. Sociedad don't tend score many away either (apart from the 3-2 at Levante)

    all these tempt me:
    under 1.5 @ 12/5
    under 2.5 @ 7/10
No Goal (either team) @ 4/6

Karma- Seen ladbrokes doing money back on 1st goalscorer if RVP scored at any time so did the 2 centre backs- fiver on vermalen at 20/1.:D

I had him too but in a score cast 2-1 & 3-1 im sick now

Any opinions on Pool City tomorrow?I personally fancy Pool to get something but both sides are priced high enough.7/4 can be got on City and both can be got more or less @ evens DNB.With City having played in Europe midweek and suffering a big defeat I wonder what kind of reaction those 2 factors will have. Also Liverpool at home after a great win at Stamford Bridge last week,Morale is probably great.

Over 2.5 is tempting me right now.A little short though.

I was looking at the new sky add where the guy is telling the girl how busy he is over the weekend because of the football, but the clips of previous matchs shows maxi scoring and saying ''maxi starts the game''.
A week later for the first time since the end of last season he starts and scores.

Last season when he scored it was 7 goals in 3 games

    A brace is 45-1 & hat-trick 175 and FGS is 12-1

John Guidetti to score any time @2.25
And to score 2 or more = 7.5

Unless he gets his legs chopped off between now and kick off he is guaranteed to start as the only other cfwd option is suspended.

He did score 2 last week against Vitesse away for Feyenoord and these were his 1st 2 goals from open play. His previous 4 were penalties.
So he is also the man for those.

Rotten enough place to go, RKC, but still fancy Guidetti to score
    Match starts at 11.30

3/5 accum, I need at least 3 winning bets to get some money:
    Swansea
    Man City
Bayern to be winning at HT
    CFR Cluj
    Rangers

Oss - Den Bosch over 3,5 goals @2.45
    Over 4,5 @4.1

Oss' last 3 home matches saw 22 goals, yes 22. (4-4,3-3,5-3)
Den Bosch last 3 away had over 3,5 in 2 of them

Now, it is a local derby and a few weeks ago this match only had 1-1 at the end of 90 minutes in the Cup.

Keeping it safe today as i await a few bets to come in (hopefully)
    AC Milan
    Rangers
    Bayern at about 1.5/1

Gonna do them all (-1) too

Going a hefty lump on this double

Man City win or draw 4/9
    Rangers 2/5

Paying just over evens with Boylesports

The two times I've ever had Rangers in an acc they've drawn: at home to St Mirren 1-1 and at home to St Johnstone 0-0.

Can safely say I will never be backing them again

I'm going for Man City as well. They thrashed Tottenham and Man Utd away from home and beat an in-form Newcastle. I think some people are fooled by the fact that Pool beat Chelsea last weekend.

And the fact that they beat them with a late goal, and its obvious that Chelsea are out of form completely also.

If City get the first goal I can see them breezing past Liverpool

  • Registered Users Posts: 395 ✭✭bonescap

    Bayern Munich @ 4/11
    Palermo @ 6/4
    AC Milan @ 1/3
    Tromso @ 4/5
    @ 7/1

    Palermo win @2.5
    Liverpool - Man City over 2,5 @1.8
    Bayern -1 handicap @1.9
    @8.6

I can't believe the way people are overrating man city, yes they have a really good squad but they have yet to prove they can handle the pressure and win the league let alone go unbeaten 7/1 to be unbeaten lol ya must be joking.

no i actually emailed them for interest sake and 7/1 is what they offered, pathetic odds was expecting 25/1 at least

  • Registered Users Posts: 10,071 ✭✭✭✭wp_rathead

Ballotelli anytime and City to win @ 4/1 (PP Powerplay)

    avin' some of that

We're in week 13 so there's 25 more games left.
How many teams can beat them?
    spurs,
    unite,
    liverpool
    chelsea
    arsenal

    They beat united 6-1 , spurs 5-1.....

  • Registered Users Posts: 442 ✭✭kev250

They could be beaten in any of those 25 games. Yes they are on fantastic form but I expect them to slip up at least once. I reckon it could be one of the smaller teams that will beat them.

  • Registered Users Posts: 9,351 ✭✭✭magherakid

    Liverpool v Man City
Man city to score in both halves 10/3

If you chose City and draw for those 25 games the accumulated odds would be greater than 7/1

  • Moderators, Social & Fun Moderators Posts: 20,862 Mod ✭✭✭✭inforfun

The way other teams keep spilling points here and there, Man City may be champions with still 5 games to go.
And those last games are there to screw up these kind of bets.
See what Barca did last year after they secured la liga. Hardly won a match anymore.

You need 2 or 3 other teams to chase them till the end, only then it might come in.
    And 7/1 is therefor BS.

Still happy with my Man city bet finishing top (without Man utd/Chelsea) i made before the season started.
And my RVP as PL top scorer @10 :)

  • Registered Users Posts: 7,513 ✭✭✭seanhynes

7/1 was the price they emailed back, shocking stuff to say the least this early in the season..Utd were 12/1 supposedly to remain unbeaten before the city game, them 7/1 odds dont make any sense when there yet to play pool, arsenal and chelsea home and away:confused:
Does any1 think munich can cover the -1 away to mainz,in two minds whether or not to do it,they dont seem to be covering it in recent results away
