Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Moving Problems.

    hey all!
    So basically my mother is a US Citizen and got a job over in the US and my family are in the process of moving over. we are getting a immigration (permanent resident) visa by the way.
    So, all has been fine up until now. We got stuck when it came to getting an affidavit of support. We eventually got one and we thought we were in the all clear.
    But for the AOS, they want to sponsor to fill out his tax returns for 2010.
    Now, the AOS we have is earning well over 100k now, but last year he got let go from his previous job and only grossed about 50,000 last year (the min. is 60K).
    My question is, will our visas be granted given that he is earning well over the minimum requirement? I would like to say yes, but you never know if their rules are set in stone. It would be devastating to be turned away because of that.

    Yes, as long as he can show his current income will be sustained income. A few paystubs as well as a letter from the employer saying this is a permanent job and he is doing fine should be all you need.
