    No need to thank me
    My pleasure :D
No need for the official ones I use a fake one from hong kong and it works perfectly.
A hard drive is a hard drive theres no difference between an official one and one bought on ebay or one you flash yourself to work on your xbox

Even with smileys you're not doing your patronising tone any favours.

You obviously didn't look hard enough.

    http://shop.ebay.ie/?_from=R40&_trksid=m570&_nkw=microsoft+xbox+250GB+drive

    Only buy from "Top Sellers".

    Also:

You could also call shops to see if they have any in stock\second hand?

Thanks Jimbobjoeyman, i genuinely appreciate your input , if i was to buy a drive and flash it, is it then only a matter of switching them out, also if you dont mind me asking how would i transfer my content over to the new drive.

and chin_grin please get a grip, and a sense of humour please, i was not being patronising, i was just having a bit of fun, you should try it sometime.

I'm pretty sure he meant no offence in it so no need to get worked up about it!

Good links though all the same.....I would only trust top sellers also.
Is there any need for a 250gb though, wouldn't 120gb be enough no? You could save the money and use it to buy a transfer cable to get the old stuff off the other harddrive.

Thanks WALSHY16291, i am not worked up about anything, i appreciate the links chin_grin provided and i will check them out, i just dont like someone assuming that i am patronising someone else when i clearly was not.

I was referring to chin grin but anyways!:D
Also with transferring, Gamestop or one of them might do it for you, I'm not too sure but worth a try none the less!

Don't know anything about this site but the price, considering that postage is free, is a good one. Worth checking out.
