Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

CB1000 as a tourer?

    Right! I know I'm a bit of a forum hog at the moment.... soz, alright :D

    As I'm sure you all remember, I'm heading to New Zealand and I'm planning on touring for at least the first month-ish. I'm heading out alone and I'm worried about ending coming home early through homesickness or a change of plan or whatever. I'm worried about buying a bike and losing my shirt trying to sell it later when I'll be under pressure to sell quickly. Especially so when bikes are so expensive.

    I was thinking about the likes of a '02 or '03 Bandit 1200 or SV1000 for about the €3,500. I have realised that there are mint CB1000s out there for around the €2000 to €2,500 mark. I like these bikes and they appear to be well minded, too.

    Opinions?

    i have a 93 cb1000 they are such an underated bike u can tour commute and be a complete loon they are a great bike
