Mascherano gaining quite the reputation for being a diving, cheating so and so. He's doing it at every opportunity he gets now, it's like himself and Busquets have some sort of bet going on over who's better at feigning injury.

I think to be fair, biscuits is a bit like CR7 they're actually diving a lot less now but the rep is still going to stay with them.

Agreed. But Mascherano does need to have a word with himself.

Id say mourinho would not hesistate to blow the whole barca team to bits with an ak 47 at this stage..

getting a bit sick of em myself..

    2nd goal off side btw...

Yeah I will say that Busq is cheating on a lower scale now than he was originally. We should welcome any sort of improvement. Mascherano is becoming the worst at the club for it now. The refs surely know what his game is by now.

Can't be arsed to watch a game of football being played on top of the Monaco Municipal Underground Car Park. Wretched joke of a pitch.

you been to monaco?? there isn't enough space to put up a tent in that town, i thought the pitch was quite good actually

Barcelona are so ****ing good, they don't need to be diving. That's what pissed me off the most.

I didn't argue when the remote was taken off me to change the channel coz Mascherano was just unbearable tonight.

How could that be offside?? Sanchez (or whoever was in the offside position) was hardly obstructing the keepers view. And with Messi clearly passing the ball to Fabregas, going by todays rules, it was a perfect legit goal

<biased opinion>Barcelona did great</biased opinion> but were below par at the start of the match. They still need more minutes and fitness which is oddly helped by the strike in Spain. They'll only get better and better from here on.

Two weeks in and they've got a treble already (if you count the Gamper trophy). What are the chances of records being broken again this season? The first and only team in history to do a sextuple could do another sextuple, a possible septuple this season and a chance to be the first back to back Champions League winners (in it's current form).

What a season to look forward to!

It's odd that the bitter pills come out when people start saying they're fed up with Barcelona winning. Why? They are currently unarguably the best club side in the world, arguably the best team of all time, certainly of a generation. This kind of stuff only happens once in a blue moon so whatever your club preference just enjoy it for what it is. The cycle will start to fade and a new club will take the reigns. Maybe even this season? Who knows?

So long as they keep beating Real Madrid that's all that matters to me. :D

I dunno, with Fabs, Busquets & Thiago, add to that Messi, Pedro and Sanchez all quite young it's hard to see Barca fading away in the next 10 years. And that's not taking into account the next prodigies from La Masia.

It'll be interesting to see how many CL titles Messi will have by the end of his career. He already has three (along with Puyol, Pique, Xavi, Iniesta & Valdes) which is only one behind Seedorf for the most.

Not forgetting most of the team has won everything in one season/calendar year and also won the World Cup and European Championship. That's some haul!

Where do you go from there?! :pac:
