I am only back in Ireland after a year away and they are taking late enrollments for this course so I have been looking into it.

Do i have to be on the dole for six months or a year before i can get a grant? Or are they two different things altogether?

If I am eligible, is it too late in the day to be applying for a grant for this year?

Apologies if this is grass roots stuff but I haven't gone down this route before. Also I will be applying as a mature student.
