Kasabian have announced they will hit the road again later this year for a 'monster' UK arena tour.

The band's fourth studio album 'Velociraptor!' is set for release on September 19th, and includes the new tracks ‘Switchblade Smiles’ and ‘Days Are Forgotten’. Their previous album, the critically acclaimed 'West Ryder Pauper Lunatic Asylum', has already shifted over 1 million records worldwide!

The new album opens a new chapter in terms of Kasabian’s distinctive sound, and the 'Club Foot' singer is evidently pleased at how well the new music has been received during their summer shows.

Kasabian guitarist Sergio Pizzorno said, "The overall response from the gigs and people that have heard it on the radio has been bigger than ever. Everyone seems to be really digging the new sound. It’s a huge progression for us, it’s epic. It’s a proper rock album, futuristic modern rock album. It’s the future."

Kasabian Tour Dates are as follows:

Mon Nov 28th - Brighton Centre, Brighton
Wed Nov 30th - Motorpoint Arena, Cardiff
Fri Dec 2nd - Capital FM Arena, Nottingham
Sun Dec 4th - Echo Arena, Liverpool
Tue Dec 6th - NIA, Birmingham
Wed Dec 7th - MEN Arena, Manchester
Thu Dec 8th - Metro Radio Arena, Newcastle
Sat Dec 10th - Motorpoint Arena, Sheffield
Sun Dec 11th - SECC, Glasgow
    Wed Dec 14th - O2 Arena, London

Tickets for Kasabian will go onsale next Friday, September 2nd at 9am, priced from £30.00 (£32.50 London) + Fees.

Presume they will add Irish dates prob O2 and Odyssey

Be shocked if they didn't do a Dublin show.

Saw them at Oxegen in 2010 and they were the surprise package for me. Really enjoyed their set. Annoyed I didnt know more than 7 or 8 songs.

Imo they are better at their own gigs than festivals or support slots.

They need to take a rest for about 5 years, everyone is fed up with them at this stage.

If you want to get into it, you got to get out of it. (Hawkwind 1982)

Agreed ive seen them 5 times already (this will be my 6th) and they just get better and better each time. And the fact they once again have the price the same as their last gig is great . It will be €33 well spent
