    I'm thinking of getting the universal remote offer from Ibood on dealpage.ie today for my dad, but just wondering if anyone ever manages to use them?

    In other words - good present or not?

    If you have time to wait around for a while lidl always have them at some time and I think are either €8 or €10 I have two myself and they are perfect.

    They have them next Monday-it's a 10 in 1 remote,very handy piece of kit.I use it for Sky,DVD and Surround Sound.

    Decided not to get the universal remote on ibood last week as it takes 2 wks to deliver I heard.... so dropped into Harvey Normans instead and gave it to him on Sunday.

    Think he really liked it as he has a few remotes.... boys and their toys :)
