I've been a smoker all my adult life, from about 16 years of age (now 49). Lately I've gone up to 30 - 40 a day, so last Monday i decided to give them up. Smoked my last ciggie at 11:30am on Monday, and haven't smoked since.

I'm using the Nicolites electronic cigarette, and find it great. Have tried the patches, gum, champix etc in the past, all to no avail.

For anybody trying to give them up. it's worth a try, as you still have the association with the ciggie!!! And you only get the hit when you need it, not like patches that feed you nicotine all night through.

    have a look here.

hope i can stay off them this time!!!
