    Hi.

Looking to buy my first home cinema system for my bedroom.
    Size is 14ft by 8ft by 8ft.
Was thinking of a soundbar, but I think the 5.1 surround sound units would be better.
What would be most suitable for a room of my size?
I was thinking of the Onkyo HTS5405.
What would be the difference between it, and the Onkyo HTS3405?
Do you have the new Onkyo HTS6405 in stock? How does that differ from the previous 2?
    Would that be suitable?

    (sorry for all the questions)

    Regards,

    Zak.

Make sure that it's HD and 3d ready
When you watch porn on one of those you run the risk of having your eyes poked out

    Hi Zak,

    Cheers for getting in touch.

Both systems would be suitable for the size of your room. There's just a few differences between the two.

The 3405 has a passive subwoofer, where the 5405 has an active subwoofer. The 5405 would provide better bass, which could be a good or bad thing. If you're on a first floor the bass would travel downwards, could be a nightmare for people below you. The bass from the 3405 would also travel downwards, but it wouldn't be as powerfull. Personally I love bass so I'd say the 5405 is the better option.

You can also connect your Ipod/Iphone to the 5405 via the USB input on the front, this is a very handy feature.

We have the 5405 in stock priced at £349.95 and we could deliver it anywhere in Ireland for £12.99.

I hope this has helped you out, let me know if you need any more information. Or if you'd like to order one. :)

    Regards.
    Chris
