Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Bit of a long shot here, badly damaged my Eason wheels at the beginning of the summer, I left them into my LBS to see if they were repairable. They have now told me that if I can source a pair of rims(front and back) they would be able to re-build them. I have looked at the usual places on line but cannot find anything like this so I was just wondering if anyone here has any suggestions. The hubs and spokes are fine but the rims are un repairable and as they are(were) my good set of wheels I would hate the thought of having to dump them.

"4. Where can I obtain replacement spokes and other parts?
Straight pull spokes are widely available through bicycle parts distributors. Replacement spokes, rims, and hub parts are available directly from our Customer Service 877-835-6629."

I would have though the shop could source rims from the distributor, or you could try directly. Can't find one for Ireland, but...

    Easton UK Distributors
    Extra UK
    Telephone: 0207 794 3370
    Website: Extra UK

However, unless Easton have a crash replacement policy I wouldn't be surprised if the end result cost almost as much as a new set of wheels.

Thank for that Lumen, the cost is what I am afraid of. I bought them from Chain Reaction and have sent them an email about the rims. Failing that I contact Eastin in the UK
