Bus from Kildare town to IT Carlow

Hi guys, Would anybody know if there is a bus that goes from Kildare Town to IT Carlow? Tried looking at all the bus websites, its not that clear (well for me its not!!!) Got son starting there soon and needs transport. All info would be very greatfully received as this is our first to college! Thanks in advance Confused…

Here's the JJ Kavanagh timetable (check page 5). It looks like there's only one bus each way every day, which isn't great.
