ESB Account Holder

    Hey guys,

    Moving into a student house soon. Just wondering if only a single name can be on the ESB bill? Easier if we were all registered with them, just to avoid anyone getting caught out.

    Its normal for there only to be a single name on the ESB bill- and for the account to be cleared on the termination of the tenancy with any outstanding balances to be either paid in cash to the billholder, or if the bill remains in the landlord's name- to the landlord (or allow the landlord to deduct any outstanding balances from the deposit).

    If you really want a bunch of names on the bill- ring the ESB and ask them how best to go about it- I'd be very surprised if they were happy to allow this though.
