Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Thanks a mil Barry, Yes. Well of sorts, if you'd even call it a camera. Shot and processed entirely on an iPhone which i'm fortunate enough to have at the moment :o (think I just resized to 600px in the Gimp)

Got the pix.ie TOTD too \o/

(though I thought myself that there were better images on display for the day but not to look a gift horse in the face and so on :pac:)

    Thank you!

Regarding the lighting... we're talking state of the art stuff here -

Bedside Lamp w 11watt Energy Saver bulb fitted
Halford €5 - 5 meter extension cord to bring power to the bathroom
Lamp at an angle of roughly 45 degrees pointing towards the right side of the face

Hope for all the people who can't afford a flash gun or the latest Elinchrome or Bowen lighting kits :)

Admittedley I have a flash gun but I always felt I needed a Phd in physics to understand the damn thing. Shooting Ilford Delta 3200 which is gritty and grainy itself... so I had a feeling I might get away with shítty lighting.

Seen this fellow today as I wandered Dublin/St. Stephens Green. Have to say, hat's off to him, he's great with the birds! (pun not intended, I seriously mean he was great with the birds there. They loved him). Fair play to him.

It's well worth the effort- you have produced a consistent standard of outstanding images over the past few weeks.

Nearing the Gold Rush town of Lillooet. Not much gold in these parts now, but if you like dirt, just pick your shade and you'll find it.

A fantastically clear night in Brittany last week. Couldn't get the manual focus quite right for these shots, but you get the idea.
